Fairfield University education students, led by Connecticut Writing Project at Fairfield Director Dr. Bryan Ripley Crandall, visited Marvin Elementary School's third-grade classrooms in Norwalk for a unique teaching and learning exchange that included participation from Senate Majority Leader Bob Duff. The visit allowed aspiring teachers to gain hands-on experience in multilingual classrooms while sharing their educational journeys with elementary students, demonstrating the power of community partnerships in teacher preparation and resulting in what one teacher described as two hours of extraordinarily effective instruction.
