Author and NWP Writers Council member Amy Sarig King, also known as A.S. King, was invited by the National Council of Teachers of English and the West Chester Writing Project to West Chester University. During her visit, she held a talk and book signing event for her new novel Attack of the Black Rectangles which explores censorship and book banning in schools. King passionately advocated against book banning and emphasized the importance of critical thinking, diverse representation in literature, and promoting kindness among students.
