Dr. Peter Kittle, chair of California State University, Chico 's English Department since 2018 and a Northern California Writing Project teacher-leader, transformed challenges into opportunities by fostering a more inclusive and rigorous academic environment amidst the Camp Fire and COVID-19 pandemic.
