Jennifer Jones, an English teacher at Lee's Summit West High School and a teacher-leader with the Greater Kansas City Writing Project, has been named the 2025 Missouri Teacher of the Year. With a 23-year teaching career, Jones is recognized for her dedication to fostering a love of learning and community among her students.
