The Connecticut Writing Project at Fairfield (CWP Fairfield) hosted an MLK Youth Leadership Academy for Bridgeport eighth graders on Friday, February 9. This event was a key part of the University's annual Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration, themed "Dreaming and Doing: Transforming Education." Bryan Crandall, PhD, an associate professor of literacy in the School of Education and Human Development and director of CWP Fairfield, facilitated the academy.
